Harvest Invoices now supporting multiple currencies
Good news for customers who have clients in different countries: you can now change currency on each invoice. Just create an invoice, and you’ll find a new dropdown box below tax where you can choose from a long list of currencies. Harvest will tally up the invoices, so you know how much you’re making and collected in each currency.
Bonus: you can choose a preferred currency for each client (under Manage > Clients), so the next time you create an invoice for the client, the currency will be chosen for the invoice automatically.

Excellent news – I noticed this the other day, and it brought a smile to my face. Keep up the good work!
Will you be extending this capability to enable people to enter different currency expenses?
@Graham: We’ll certainly keep your suggestion on our radar, and rest assured that we are continuing to expand our support for users who are dealing with multiple currencies in their business. Thanks!
@Harvest — Would be nice if the invoice explicitly displayed the currency in which the billing is rendered. ($US, $CDN, etc). I do a lot of trans-border business and I’ve often had clients ask if my invoices are in $US or $CDN.
And the ability to label the Tax line (is it State tax, GST, VAT, Carbon, etc). Just kidding about the carbon tax…
Multi-currency handling for expenses is a big requirement for us. Are there any plans to include this any time soon.
same here. I am also a “fan” of multi-currency expenses…
We also need multi-currency expenses to track Canada/US/Asia employees & consultants, thanks for any update
Just checking in on multi-currency support for expenses… any update?
@Caleb @Dave @Timm @Fergal @Dave In Canada Thanks for the nudges – while I have no update to offer on when this type of a feature would be implemented, I’ve made a note of all of the +1′s on our feature request list – thanks for the feedback!
