Tod, if you’re using Google Apps, you’ll need to set a Harvest-specific password. Google (with good reason) doesn’t let us import your apps password. Just go into your Harvest account and click the “My Profile” link in the top right corner. Set a password and then click save.

If you still have trouble getting it to work, feel free to write into support and we’ll get you straightened out.

I’d LOVE to use this, but the login isn’t working. Is this because we use Google accounts as our login? I’ve put my Google email address and password into the right fields, but it keeps saying Please Login…

i love this app. if it included timetracking, i could start and stop timers w/o having to wait for the dashboard to load. that would be my time tracking holy grail

Thanks for your feedback everyone! I have updated Scythe to version 1.3, which includes fixes for URL validation, non-billable tasks, and also the ability to filter out archived projects from your totals.

In addition to these fixes, I’ve also added an auto-update feature. Once you’ve downloaded this new version of Scythe, it will automatically check for updates as they become available from the Scythe website.

Scythe doesn’t seem to differentiate between billable and non-billable tasks on a billable project. I have a non-billable project which doesn’t show (which is correct) but I have a billable project with some non-billable tasks which are getting calculated to dollars (which is incorrect).

I was unable to get this delightful app to work until I removed the trailing slash from the URL.

Perhaps something for a future version to validate. Great app!

Nope, it’s odd the app doesn’t even load up. I double click and nada. I’m going to restart the mac and see if it appears
