Harvest Report Integration with Drupal

UPDATE: ImageX Media just posted more information about the integration with Harvest and Drupal, and how to track projects and receive daily notifications.

ImageX Media has utilized the Harvest API, to allow you to integrate Harvest with Drupal, a popular open source content management system.  A few typical use cases  include:

  • Create customized reports to display Harvest project data and share with team members and/or clients
  • Keep your clients up to date on how many hours your team has spent on their project and on what tasks
  • Remind your project team with regular updates on the project budget status
  • Automatically generate time reports for contractors to add to their invoices

Harvest Time Tracking Expense Tracking iPhone App

Today, we’re excited to announce the arrival of our official Harvest iPhone app to the iTunes App Store.

Harvest for your iPhone allows you to track time and expenses on-the-go, with or without a network connection. Start and stop the task timers or enter durations with notes while you’re on the road.

Need to submit receipts with your expenses? With Harvest for your iPhone, you can snap photos of your receipts and attach them to your expense entries in Harvest. It’s a great way to stay organized.

Harvest Integration with Redmine Project Management Tool

We’re very excited to discover that Jim Mullholland over at Squeejee came up with a super sweet plugin which integrates Harvest time tracking with the Redmine project management app!

With this plugin, you are able to tie Harvest projects to Redmine projects, import your timesheet data into Redmine, report on this data, and aggregate time entries to Redmine tasks.

Track Earnings from Billable Hours with Scythe (Mac OS X only)

A few weeks ago, we got a glimpse of beautifully executed Harvest add-on called Scythe.  We’re excited to tell you that this FREE add-on is now available for download.  The simple application allows users to track their earnings via an interface which appears on the menu bar of Mac OS X.

Computer-readable Invoices with billFLO

According to one survey, nearly 20 billion paper invoices are exchanged between businesses each year–that’s a lot of paper!  Given that’s it’s Earth Day, the time is now for a start-up like billFLO.  The product focuses on eliminating paper invoices by creating a new format for invoices: machine-readable invoices.
