What You Can Sync with Basecamp Classic

The Basecamp Classic integration allows you to import people and projects from Basecamp Classic.

Harvest does not sync with Basecamp Classic’s to-do lists or time tracking since to-do’s in Basecamp are much more specific than Harvest tasks. Pulling to-do’s into Harvest would make it difficult to draw meaningful conclusions since data wouldn’t be generalizable.

Setting up Basecamp Classic Integration

To set up your Basecamp Classic integration:

1. Go to your Profile Menu and click Account Settings.
2. Scroll down to Integrations and click on Edit Basecamp Classic Settings.
3. Enter your Basecamp Classic URL, and follow the instructions on the page to help you find your Basecamp Classic API token.
4. Click Import.
