How to Create an Estimate

Learn how to create an estimate for your clients.

Creating an estimate is similar to creating a free-form, open invoice. To create an estimate:

  1. Enable the Estimates module in your account. Go to Manage > Account Settings and click the Choose Modules button. On the next screen, select Estimates and click Save.
  2. Next, go to Estimates > Overview and click Create Estimate.
  3. First, pick your client.
  4. Next, fill out the rest of the form. Add a subject, taxes, change the currency, customize the orders of the rows on your estimate, and more.
  5. Click Save Estimate. You can send your invoice right away, or save a draft and send it later.
