Settings, Messages, and Translations

Customize company information, upload a logo, and set up values, translations, and messages under Invoices > Configure and Estimates > Configure.

Company Information

From Invoices > Configure > Company information:

  • Enter your company name and address the way they should appear on your invoices and estimates.
  • Customize from which email address your invoices and estimates are sent by updating the Send Message As setting.
  • Upload a logo by clicking Browse and selecting an image an image.

Note: Information in Invoices > Configure > Company information will automatically share with Estimates > Configure > Company Information.

Default Values

Go to Invoices > Configure > Default Values to customize your invoice and estimate settings:

  • Taxes- You can enter a first and second tax to be applied to your invoices, and you can choose choose either simple or compound tax under Taxation Mode.
  • Time Rounding- You can round incrementally up to or to the nearest 6, 15, or 30 minutes.
  • Due Date- You can set a default payment due period.
  • Invoice Summary and Notes- If you have a standard invoice subject or notes, enter them here.
  • Hide Columns- You can choose to hide the Type, Quantity, or Unit Prices columns on your Invoices and Estimates.

For Estimates, Taxes and Taxation Mode entered under Invoices > Configure > Default Values will automatically be shared with Estimates > Configure > Default Values. Estimate Summary and Notes need to be set separately from invoices.

Note: Information for taxes only is shared between Invoices > Configure and Estimates > Configure for these sections.

Messages, Translations, and Categories

You can further customize your invoice and estimate settings and messages.

  • Set up Messages, Thank Yous, and Reminders under Invoices > Configure > Messages and Estimates > Configure > Messages.
  • Customize labels for your invoices and estimates under Invoices > Configure > Translations and Estimates > Configure > Translations.
  • Customize categories that appear in the Type menu on an invoice or estimate from Invoices > Configure > Categories and Estimates > Configure > Categories.

Note: Information is NOT shared between Invoices > Configure and Estimates > Configure for these sections.
