Recurring Invoices
Recurring invoices will automatically send from your Harvest account.
How to Send a Recurring Invoice
- Go to Invoices > Recurring and click Create Recurring Invoice.
- Choose your client and click Next.
- Choose the start date and frequency of the invoice, and whether you would like it to automatically send from your account.
- Fill-out the invoice, and Save.
Recurring invoices will appear under Invoices > Dashboard. They can be managed exactly like non-recurring invoices.
Recurring invoices can not pull in information from your timesheets, so recurring invoices will be the same every time they’re sent.
Recurring Invoice Generation Time
Recurring invoices are generated at approximately 12:05-30 AM in your local timezone. Account timezone can be changed under Manage > Account Settings.
Variables in Recurring Invoice Messages
Unlike normal invoices, messages that are part of an automatically sent recurring invoices cannot contain variables. However, recurring invoices saved as drafts DO support variables in their messages.
