Time Display Settings

Track time in a 12- or 24-hour clock, decimal or HH:MM, and by duration or start and end times. You can format it all from Edit Preferences under Manage > Account Settings.

1. Go to Manage > Account Settings, and click Edit Preferences.
2. You can format the following time settings:
   • Time format – Choose whether time appears in a 12-hour or 24-hour clock.
   • Time display – Choose whether time appears in decimal format (ie. 2 hours, 15 minutes appears as 2.25) or as HH:MM (ie. 2 hours, 15 minutes appears as 2:15).
   • Timestamp – Track time via duration (ie. entering time in decimal or HH:MM format) or via start and end times. By default, Harvest tracks time by duration.
3. Save your settings.

Note: HH:MM only shows on timesheets. On reports and invoices, time is in decimal format.
