Timesheet Duplication
Duplicate timesheets in the Day view, and track time to the same projects and tasks each day without adding them to your timesheet.
Rules for Timesheet Duplication
You can only turn on timesheet duplication if:
- You are viewing your own timesheet in Day view for the current date.
- Your timesheet is blank.
- Timesheet timestamps are set to Track time via duration. Timesheet duplication will not work if timestamps are set to Track time via start and end times.
How to Turn On Timesheet Duplication
- Go to Timesheets > Time.
- On today’s blank timesheet, click copy over all entries to duplicate your previous timesheet.

This will copy over the projects/tasks you had on yesterday’s timesheet, and these will be the items that appear on your timesheet every day.
How to Turn Off Timesheet Duplication
You can only turn off timesheet duplication when viewing your timesheet in Day view for the current date. Your timesheet must be blank in order to turn off timesheet duplication.
- Go to Timesheets > Time.
- On today’s blank timesheet, click clear all rows and start fresh to turn off timesheet duplication.
Timesheet Duplication and Week View
The Week view of the timesheet duplicates your previous week’s entries even when timesheet duplication is turned off in the Day view.
It is important to know that:
- If no time is entered for a project/task in Week view, that project/task will not be reflected in reports or invoices.
- If you track time via duration, you can delete lines from the Week view only after you start entering time for the week. If you have not started entering time for that week, you will not see the X to delete a project/task from the Week view.
