Harvest for iPhone
You can enter and edit time, and add expenses and upload receipts via Harvest for iPhone, free.
Installing Harvest for iPhone
- Go to the App Store on your iPhone and search Harvest.
- The app is listed as Harvest Time & Expense Tracker. Click FREE, then INSTALL.
Can’t Sign In or Connect
- If your account was created with Google Apps, you will need to create a Harvest-specific password. (Learn more)
Entering Time on your iPhone
When you sign into the application, and you will see your timesheet for the day. To add a new time entry:
- Click the plus sign.
- Click the button that says Choose Project and Task.
- Choose a project from the list.
- If you are an admin, you can add a new project by clicking the plus sign.
- Choose a task from the list.
- If you are an admin, you can add a new task by clicking the plus sign.
- If you need, add notes by clicking Add Notes.
- Click Start to start your timer.
Your timer will now be highlighted in orange to show that it is running. To stop your timer, click the Stop button.
Editing Time on your iPhone
- Click into the entry you need to change. You can edit your project, task, and notes in the same way you entered them.
- To change your time, click the time clock, and scroll through the list until the duration you want is highlighted.
- Click Save.
Entering Expenses and Uploading Receipts
You can enter expenses and upload pictures of your receipts to your Harvest account. To enter an expense:
- Click the dollar sign on the bottom of your iPhone screen.
- When you’re in the Expenses section, click the plus sign.
- Enter the Project and Category, Amount, and Save. Adding Notes is optional.
- To upload a receipt, click Add Receipt Photo. Either take a new photo or choose one from your library, and Save.
- Receipt photos taken through the app will save to your photo library.
- After you’re done, click Save to save the entire expense entry.
