Our esteemed speakers for the upcoming HOBBY (Tuesday, September 14th):
- Michi Yanagishita & Yen Ha leave the office to eat lunch, and they photograph and write about it every day. When they are not eating lunch or dessert or thinking about what to have lunch or dessert, they are the hard working architects behind Front Studio.
- Tina Roth Eisenberg, the illustrious Swissmiss blog and design maven, loves nothing more than to connect people. With that? Well, whatever it is you need, a spouse, an apartment or information.
- Jessi Arrington, cofounder of WORKSHOP design studio, scours flea markets and thrift shops of the world, giddily feeding her “nothing new” obsession, and recently, started photographing and blogging about it.
- Veken Gueyikian & Hrag Vartanian are the husband-and-husband co-founders of the art blogazine, Hyperallergic. They are thankful that with the rising popularity of street art, people no longer think they are strange for wanting to visit shady neighborhoods to see in person the street art they love to “collect”.
Each speaker has 5 minutes to explain their particular recreational pursuit,
followed by a 5 minute Q&A with the audience.
