Job Opportunity: Harvest Community Manager

Harvest is a beloved time tracking and invoicing web software company based in downtown New York City. We are looking for a smart and motivated person to organize and support the growing community of Harvest users from around the world. Our ideal candidate is a fast-learner with impeccable writing skills; someone who can juggle many things at once but still keep things organized and tidy. Who you are:

• You're an upstanding, honest, responsible, hard working, and humble person with a sense of humor (like everyone here).
• You can write succinctly, clearly, and exceptionally well (in English).
• You care about the details. You spell check and proofread every email you send out.
• You are web-savvy and excited to try out new ideas and things on the web.
• You're passionate about learning new things, and you're not afraid of taking up a new challenge.
• You love meeting new people, and you are not shy to pick up a phone and talk to people.
• You want to be part of a small, growing company that is making an impact on the workflow and efficiency of small business.
• You understand social media, but you'd never call yourself a social media consultant.

Stuff you'll be working on:

• Be on the forefront talking to our customers, help solve problems or concerns, and ensure that each customer has a great experience.
• Be the editor and writer of the Harvest blog. Generate story ideas and help communicate feature updates to our customers.
• Review, edit and publish New Founders interviews.
• Write and produce our Harvest monthly newsletter.
• Contribute ideas to promote awareness and visibility of Harvest and related initiatives.
